Definition and composition
The Ciment » CEM II A-L 32,5 N « , Tunisian standard NT 47-01, and European standard EN 197-1:2000, is a Composed Portland Ciment type II, with additives, resulting from the fine grinding of a mixture of :
- Clinker Portland 80% at least
- Calcareous Filler 16% at most
- Gypsium with appropriate proportion

Use
This type of ciment offers excellent performances, and allows a diversified use:
- air and hydraulic works out of reinforced concrete with normalconstraints.
- work in great mass such as dams and massifs.
- works of pose
- structures of poses normally solicited
- prefabricated units out of reinforced concrete such as beams and girders.
- prefabricated units out of non reinforced concrete such as blocksand bricks.
- road concrete
- normally armed prestressed concrete
Contra-indications
The use of this type of cement is not allowed to :
- work in the sea, unless it meets certain conditions.
- work in corrosive conditions (salt water, salt-works,) such as underground and foundations.
